People behind the scene
The success and impact of the Prayer Convention was indebted to many people who worked behind the scenes to make the two and half days as smooth and trouble free as possible. Many were working well before the actual day making sure the hall was ready, the bags filled with the right stuff, and everything in order.

Men and Women in Red
Dressed in bright red t-shirts, they were meant to be noticed and were to be found everywhere at the Convention Centre. Their job was to direct human traffic to the right places and at the right time to where they should be. They were even to be found on the various floors of the shopping mall providing directions back to the meeting hall, reminding people of the time in case they have lost track of it. Without their presence, and their whistles, things would not have gone as smoothly as it did.

The Registration Counter on the first morning did a superb job of getting those from other states to register and get their name tags. It was done with the least amount of confusion and it was a surprise to everyone that the first meeting started on time!

The Intercessors
As they have been praying months before, intercessors were on their knees before God twenty-four hours during the Convention days. Groups from different churches across the Conferences were on shifts praying through the whole range of needs.

They were guided by leaders who directed them as they sensed the Spirit’s movement and prompting, and from information provided to them. This Convention was upheld by the untiring and faithful work of intercession.

The Ministry Team

At the end of each evening participants needing prayer and ministry were invited to come forward. Teams from the Conferences ministered in Chinese, English and Tamil respectively. These teams were gathered from various churches to minister to their respective groups. It was remarkable to see the unity in the common and genuine concern shown to bring the love and healing of God to these people.

One could sense the warmth and care shown to those who came forward. If there was a time that showed the personal and pastoral touch of the Convention it was during these times.

The Medical Team
Last but not least, the doctors were those really behind the scene. Unknown and unseen by everyone except those who needed their attention. There was always a doctor at the ready throughout the Convention hours, and on the Sunday morning. An ambulance was also on standby should more medical attention be needed.

Indeed there were people in need of their services, one or two quite severe ones. With their presence the doctors made the organizers feel more secure and in control because they were there in case of emergencies and the unexpected.
