Mr Daniel Alexander is a youth leader in the Tamil Annual Conference. He was selected to attend a training conference for trainers in voluntary youth organizations in Tallinn, Estonia in December 2007.

Daniel was involved in his Annual Conference Campus Ministry which organized the Higher Education Project 2005-2007. This was an effort to bring information to the grassroots local communities on the academic and skills training opportunities provided by the Malaysian government. The Higher Education team conducted 29 such awareness projects in the two year period.
 
On the basis of their report, Daniel was nominated to attend this conference which was organized by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), the Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organizations, and its Estonian member Association. Along with 30 others from Asia and Europe they delved deeper into the importance and dynamics needed to run successful voluntary organizations.
