September 2009 - Quadrennium Logo

(2009 - 2012)

Mr Ponraj (right) seen here with Christopher Cheah at the Methodist HQ.The quadrennium logo was picked from a total of 13 entries submitted for the competition. The winning design is by Mr Ponraj Navamani, from TMC Kuala Lumpur who received the RM500 cash prize from Ms Jenny Qua, the Executive Secretary at the Methodist HQ. Mr Ponraj is a freelance art director with his own company Slingshot Advertising.

The meaning of the logo is explained below:

➢ The colours red, blue and yellow represent the nation (the colours of

the Malaysian flag).

➢ The red base symbolizes the Word of God (Scripture)

➢ The yellow flame symbolizes the Holy Spirit (Holiness)

➢ The 6 point starburst symbolizes the spreading of Scriptural Holiness to all the 6 conferences while the centre is the cross symbolizing our Christian faith.

The gradient colour from dark blue to light blue is to symbolize transformation.
