6 New Iban Pre-theo Students

Methodist Theological School (MTS), Sibu, welcomed 6 new students as the first batch of Iban pre-theological students. In the opening ceremony, Rev. James Puang, President of Sarawak Iban Annual Conference (SIAC), encouraged the students to follow Jesus. He further explained that we should follow the example of Jesus when He called His disciples.

Using the word "charm", President Puang caught the attention of the audience when he mentioned that the older Iban generation used charms to control or possess a person. Now, as Iban Christians, our charms to win people to Christ are good testimony, good deeds and encouragement from church leaders. Towards this end, Rev. Puang encouraged all students to come and follow Jesus so that they can win more people to God and to follow Jesus.
